Dr Pedro Saffi, University Lecturer in Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School has had his paper accepted at the 2013 American Finance Association meeting in San Diego – the most important conference in academic Finance.

The paper titled: ‘The Role of Institutional Investors in Voting: Evidence from the Securities Lending Market,‘ is one of two papers from Cambridge accepted in the programme.

Professor Saffi, co-authored the paper with Jason Surgess and Reena Aggarwal, both faculty members of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Of the 1554 Submissions, less that 12 percent were accepted. It is to be presented at the session provisionally titled Institutional Investors: Voting, Lending and Monitoring.

The 2013 Annual Meeting will be held at the Marriot Marquis & Marina Hotel on 4-6 January in San Diego.
