EMJBA 2009 graduationCambridge Judge Business School’s Executive MBA (EMBA) degree programme for senior working professionals, which this year was eligible for the first time in the Financial Times (FT) ranking of global EMBA programmes, was today (20 October) placed 36th overall in the FT rankings.

Among areas of the FT survey, Cambridge Judge was ranked 12th in the proportion of international students; 21st in pre-EMBA work experience according to seniority and years of positions held, company size and international work experience; and 27th in career progress as calculated by seniority and size of company now compared to before their EMBA.

Dean of the School, Christoph Loch, said:

We are very proud of our EMBA programme, which we started five years ago in the middle of the financial crisis, and which proved itself and has since carved out its own distinct identity. The EMBA programme’s next five years will build on those firm foundations, serving senior professionals with even higher impact through a unique programme that combines academic rigour with unparalleled networking opportunities.

A total of 134 EMBA programmes took part in the FT rankings, including those offered jointly by more than one school, and the top 100 were listed. Cambridge Judge was the highest ranked among programmes ranked by the FT for the first time. The 20-month Cambridge Judge EMBA began in 2009 and was eligible for the FT rankings for the first time this year because programmes must have run for at least four consecutive years.
