Cambridge Social Ventures, a collaboration between the Centre for Social Innovation at Cambridge Judge Business School and the charity Allia, celebrated its first birthday with an event at the Future Business Centre in Cambridge.

So far, more than 200 people have attended Social Venture Weekends at Cambridge Judge organised by Cambridge Social Ventures, and 50 social ventures which attended these Weekends are currently being incubated by Cambridge Social Ventures. The next Social Venture Weekend will be held at the School this autumn.

The first birthday event for Cambridge Social Ventures on 8 July heard presentations by Belinda Bell, Programme Director, and others who have been involved in the initiative.

“It has been an immense pleasure working with a diverse group of entrepreneurs who are committed to deliver social impact through successful businesses,” said Dr Neil Stott, Executive Director of the Centre for Social Innovation. “We hope many more join us.”
