Simon Sainsbury Centre at Cambridge Judge nominated as Best Inclusive Building in East Anglia Building Excellence Awards.
The new Simon Sainsbury Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School has been shortlisted for the Best Inclusive Building award at the LABC East Anglia Building Excellence Awards 2018. The building opened to students and Executive Education delegates in January.
Winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony at King’s College on 29 June.
The Local Authority Building Control (LABC) event issues awards in a number of categories including Best New Housing Development, Best Public Service Building, and Best Commercial Project.
The Best Inclusive Building award recognises projects that “ensure that the highest standards of inclusive design have been achieved” while “adopting a pan-disability/pan-impairment approach” that incorporates the needs of a wide range of users.
