Cambridge Judge Business School is delighted to announce that Dr Shai Vyakarnam, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL), has been elected as a member of the prestigious European Academy of Science and Arts.

The Academy, based in Salzburg, focuses on three core areas, namely developing knowledge, disseminating scientific information and implementing major multinational projects. It has over 1,500 members consisting of 1,200 scientists and researchers, philosophers and artists from Europe, Asia and the USA, including 25 Nobel Prize winners. This has resulted in a networked ‘think tank’ on ethical and scientific values in a society that is increasingly fragmented.

Dr Vyakarnam worked in industry for several years before completing his MBA and PhD. He has combined his academic interest with those of small business and entrepreneurship. His main contribution over the past 10 years has been to develop practitioner-led education for entrepreneurship. Dr Vyakarnam is presently Co-Founder and Director of AcceleratorIndia and is on the board of Enterprise Educators UK and the UK India Business Council. He is also on the editorial board of theInternational Small Business Journal and the Journal of Strategic Change.
