As well as being published extensively in books and peer-reviewed journals, Dr Hope was awarded the Faculty Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Academy of Business in Society and the Aspen Institute in 2007. He was also the lead author and review editor for the Third and Fourth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded a half share of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

Dr Hope commented:

Cambridge Judge Business School has been a fantastic place to build a career. Successive directors of the School supported my work on climate change and the environment long before it became fashionable and are now reaping the rewards. We discover new climate change challenges every day, and there is plenty of policy modelling research still to be done.”
