Cambridge Africa Business Network (CABN) at Cambridge Judge Business School to host inaugural Business in Africa conference on 28 April 2012
The conference will focus on the theme Unlocking Value in Frontier Africa, which will explore the identification of Sub-Saharan Africa as the world’s next frontier market, as well as the role of the private sector as a catalyst for economic growth in Africa.
The Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, His Honour, Dr Guy Scott, will be present as a keynote speaker, alongside Professor Mthuli Ncube, Chief Economist and Vice President of African Development Bank, and Wadzanai Madziva, Head of Business Development at Google Africa, to name a few.
The conference will take place at Cambridge Judge Business School and will be followed by formal dining and further networking at Trinity Hall. This inaugural event will capitalise on the diverse experience of Cambridge faculty, in addition to the rich history of the University and its close proximity to London, which is being recognised as a fast-growing hub for African-directed capital and finance. These synergies offer a unique platform for networking among companies, professionals and students engaged with and passionate about business in Africa.
