The Cambridge Business Breakthrough Series launched its first physical event on 8 May 2013 with a session on ‘Fostering a Culture of Innovation’ from Professor Jaideep Prabhu, Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business & Enterprise and Director of the Centre for India & Global Business (CIGB).

During the session, Professor Prabhu discussed the different types of innovation and the challenges organisations face with innovation. He also facilitated a lively Q&A session where participants who represented areas such as finance, banking, legal, consulting and public sector discussed innovation challenges their organisations face and how they can overcome them.

Hosted at the Institute for Directors, London, the event is the first in a new series of half-day business events and webinars from Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education. The high impact series of events are for mid- to senior level executives looking to refresh and reassess their business outlook and move forward in their thinking.

The series covers a wide range of topics such as innovation, motivation, creativity, organisational burnout and strategic performance management and are delivered by Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge faculty.

The next event in this series is a webinar on leadership and motivation hosted by Dr Andreas Richter, University Lecturer in Human Resources & Organisations, in July.
