PhD student selected for Academy of Management Best Paper Award

Stefano TasselliStefano Tasselli, a PhD candidate in Management Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, has been awarded with the Academy of Management Best Paper Award in the Health Care Management Division. He will receive the award during a ceremony in Orlando, Florida, on 12 August 2013.

In his paper, titled “Network antecedents of knowledge transfer: the case of health care professionals”, Stefano explores the social network mechanisms explaining patterns of knowledge transfer between distinct professional groups in health care settings.

Stefano is specialising in social networks and organisations. He is a member of the Organisational Behaviour & Information Systems subject group, and of the Cambridge Centre for Health Leadership & Enterprise. During his doctoral studies, his research focuses on social network structure, individual agency and organisational outcomes.
