2014_news_eluminateCambridge Judge Business School’s historic building lights up as part of the e-Luminate Cambridge Festival this year. A monumental light installation is from a former University of Cambridge student-turned-light designer Rob Mills.

The event, which runs from 12-23 February 2014, connects the arts and technology in a unique way to shed light on low carbon innovation. The e-Luminate Foundation received support from Accelerate Cambridge, a CJBS centre led by Hanadi Jabado.

Event organisers said the lightning “will make use of a clever lightning choreography hidden in the architecture of the historical building, which will create random patterns of colour in a way never seen before”.

The building will be illuminated outside 4th floor balconies, inside the Common Room and on the ground floor. The installation will switch on every night at 17:30 and stay on until 22:00 (finishing on 16 February), and is free to attend.
