Companies are increasingly turning to executive education to strengthen their general management and leadership skills with Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education seeing a 20 per cent increase in enrolments on open programmes compared with last year.

The webinar will enable participants to hone in on the expertise of Allison Wheeler-Héau, Director of the Cambridge General Management Programme (GMP) and also Director of Open Programmes at Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education. It is scheduled for Tuesday 4 March at 13:00, intended for busy executives to log in during their lunch hour.

The audience will gain insight into the full two-week Cambridge General Management Programme held in May this year, with a chance to sign up for either Spring or Autumn enrolment, or alternatively the 2015 programmes should it suit their calendar.

Allison says:

Whilst professionals may be experiencing great success in their current area of expertise, moving into general management can be challenging. Our specialised programme gives executives the confidence to take those critical next steps to accelerate their careers.

Allison has a breadth of experience in executive education and has worked in the sector for many years. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with her throughout the webinar and ask questions during the Q&A at the end.

Kjetil Sorenson, MPD Programmes Manager at ARM Norway, a fabless semiconductor company, attended the last Cambridge General Management Programme in 2013 and commented:

The programme provided me with a great insight in different challenges for our business. Being a leader, this is something that I wanted to gain further knowledge on. It also enabled me to meet and discuss with other leaders and share experience across different industries.

Another delegate from the previous term, Hannes Wagner, Senior Legal Counsel at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV GmbH & Co KG, a medical research company commented:

The programme offered a wide range of subjects and views on a highly academic level, providing me with a fascinating insight into matters which I do not deal with daily but which remain important for my work. For me the programme has been a stimulus to increase my knowledge of the subjects of the sessions by doing further reading.
