Are you are a social innovator with a strong track record and want to support the next generations of social innovation?

2013_news_efa2013Cambridge Judge Business School is launching a Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) later this year and is seeking to appoint five to eight Fellows, who are leading social innovators in the public, private or third/NGO sector. The Fellows will advise, promote and assist the work of the new centre.

Neil Stott, Executive Director at CSI said:

“In the last few years there has been a significant and sustained global interest in creating social value through social innovation and social enterprise. Moreover, creating social value is no longer the preserve of the NGO sector, but integral to the strategies of many public organisations and, increasingly, the private sector.

“We aim to bring together academics and practitioners to improve understanding of how best to make social change and create high impact social ventures.”

Join us at the beginning of an exciting new venture to help shape the research, learning and support for social innovation across all sectors.

The Centre for Social Innovation is a dedicated research centre at Cambridge Judge Business School. The centre will engage in research and teaching on social innovation and ventures across sectors and direct support to entrepreneurs and organisations.

The CSI team includes: Professor Paul Tracey, Academic Director, Dr Neil Stott, Executive Director and Dr Helen Haugh, Research Director. The team is looking for individuals with a strong and demonstrable track record of social innovation in the UK and beyond.
The main role and responsibilities of CSI Fellows:

  • Sit on the Centre’s Advisory Board
  • Promote the work of the Centre
  • Assist with Centre projects, events and programmes

The role will involve at least five days commitment per annum (not necessarily in Cambridge).
In return, Fellows will receive:

  • A formal relationship with the School
  • Use of the School’s open spaces during open hours
  • Physical access to the Information Centre during open hours
  • A profile on the CSI website

To apply, please submit a CV with a covering letter explaining why you would like to be considered as a Fellow of the CSI and what you could contribute to its development.
