A co-operation agreement on entrepreneurship education and university-based enterprise was signed between Cambridge Judge Business School in the UK, the University of Bergamo in Italy and Maastricht University in the Netherlands, providing for student and faculty exchanges, seminars, and joint research initiatives.

The “Campus Entrepreneurship” agreement involves the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge, the Center for Young and Family Enterprise at Bergamo, and the Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship.

Other activities envisioned under the co-operation include student exchanges for internships, consultations for teaching modules, the exchange of bibliographic material, and participation in international research networks.

The agreement, which will run initially for a two year period, will be supervised at Cambridge Judge by Dr Shima Barakat, Director of Entrepreneurial Learning Programmes and Engagement at the School’s Entrepreneurship Centre; at Bergamo by Dr Tammaso Minola, Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering (DIGIP); and at Maastricht by Professor Martin Carée, Professor of Industrial Organisation.

Dr Shima Barakat says:

Through linking up with two other European universities steeped in entrepreneurial learning, we can together offer new insights and experiences to our students, researchers and programmes. We look forward to working with our colleagues in Italy and the Netherlands.
