Eagle Genomics, a startup that was supported by the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School, was awarded a nearly £600,000 grant from innovation agency Innovate UK to help further develop its data curation module.

Eagle Genomics is a smart data management company for life sciences firms, and has developed an “e[urate]” module to help scientists weave and store data – with the aim of reducing the cost of bringing drugs to market. The firm is an alumni of the SME Growth Challenge programme of the Entrepreneurship Centre.

“We are delighted to have received this Innovate UK award, in recognition of the potential of our platform to radically reduce the time and cost involved in achieving scientific insight,” said Eagle Genomics executive chairman Anthony Finbow.

We’re excited about the impact this will have on drug discovery and innovation.
