Belinda Bell, Programme Director of Cambridge Social Ventures at Cambridge Judge Business School, was named to the Women in Social Enterprise 100 (WISE100) list of influential women in social enterprise.

The WISE100 is a new initiative from the NatWest SE100 Index, which tracks data from top social enterprises. The list, announced at an event in London on 12 October, recognises 100 of the “most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and social innovation.”

Whilst chairing a panel discussion at the launch event, Belinda reflected on the reason that there is a high proportion of women in ventures supported by Cambridge Social Ventures, part of the School’s Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation. “When we build publicity for women in the way we are doing tonight, when we challenge the inequalities that we face as women, that also opens up space to challenge other inequalities around sexuality, race, class and all the rest,” she said.
