Daily Mail: Buying a house might not be the best bet for returns

The Global Investment Returns Yearbook for Credit Suisse co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Newton Centre for Endowment Asset Management (CEAM) at Cambridge Judge, says stocks are by far the best way to maximise returns in the long run. The survey analysed data since 1900 and assesses the returns and risks from investing in 23 countries and three different regions.
