Project on re-imagining churches receives branding name

Re-imagining churches project given name in line with project’s ambitions.

On 8 October 2018, the Cambridge project team attended the Media Action meeting organised by the staff of the Diocese of Ely. The meeting was to introduce newly recruited Research Associate Dr Timur Alexandrov to the team, overview the project timeline and discuss the communications plan. It was suggested that REACH Ely (Reimagining East Anglian Churches) will be a branding name for the project, which prepares the way for the research project’s ultimate ambition to reach beyond Ely. The acronym is also easy to remember and share in social media (e.g. #reachely). The full title of the project remains original – Reimagining Churches as Community Assets for the Common Good.
