World Economic Forum Live: Ways to eliminate Africa’s energy poverty

Enass Abo Hamed, co-founder of Accelerate Cambridge’s clean energy venture H2GO Power, writes about difficulties for communities getting energy access in Africa and how this could be fixed. “What is needed is existing initiatives to offer low cost, effective solutions to governments which will tackle energy poverty for the average African – this will lead the way for positive change and growth,” Enass writes. The startup H2GO Power was on the Accelerate Cambridge programme run by the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre.
