Since finishing my degree in Chile, I wanted to continue to build new knowledge and refine my soft skills in a challenging environment. I completed an MBA and then later a Masters in Business Law, and whilst these experiences were very enriching, I still felt something was missing.

I decided that undertaking a programme at a world-renowned university abroad would be the next step, and after searching several programmes in the USA and England, I found the Cambridge General Management Programme (GMP).

I soon realised that the programme had all of the characteristics I was searching for. The first thing to catch my attention was the programme structure, which was very comprehensive, challenging and delivered by an excellent teaching faculty. I was also struck by the high quality of participants that I would share a classroom with.

After two weeks of intensive learning I have not only returned to my reality with new tools and approaches to deal with business challenges, but I have also made new friends along the way.

From day one in Cambridge, the experience was very friendly and collaborative. The environment is one where everyone’s aim is to learn, self-improve and have a good time doing it. The programme is packed with content and structured in a way that provides a great blend of theory, practical cases and time for discussion and debate. Questions were welcomed, discussed and adequately answered by the knowledgeable faculty.

The GMP allowed me to learn in a truly multicultural environment, sharing the experience with people from 17 different nationalities – all of them with different approaches. This created a diverse environment that fostered the generation of new insights to face today’s challenges, all immersed in an atmosphere of respect for opinions, but with academic intensity.

The GMP definitely meets and exceeds what it promises. After two weeks of intensive learning I have not only returned to my reality with new tools and approaches to deal with business challenges, but I have also made new friends along the way.

In summary, the academic experience that I felt I was missing all this time has now been fulfilled thanks to my GMP experience.
